Strawberry Icecream with Pistachios :)

Hi friends!

On our busy weekend,It was very hot at afternoon and my daughter had asked for an ice-cream.I don't want her to get upset so I made her favorite fruit Strawberry ice cream. She was very happy having a homemade ice cream:) Here the recipe goes on below and make your kid feel delightful or even good for potluck or get-together parties etc..

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup pureed strawberries plus extra 6 strawberries chopped finely
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 3 Tablespoons for chopped strawberries if it is bitter.
  • 1/4 cup coarsely finely chopped pistachios
Method:

Mix strawberries, sweetened condensed milk until well combined.Fold in the whipped cream and pistachios.

Pour it into the large container with tight fitting lid.Keep it in the freezer for about 2 hours or until it is set.

Take a spoon and put chopped strawberries into the container and fold it to cover the chopped strawberries and set again to the freezer for about 2 to 3 hours or until it is set.

Take an ice cream scoop and put it into the serving bowl.

Garnish it with pistachios or a one strawberry on the top.

Enjoy it :)

    1. Hi meena

Oopsss tat 's sad..No worries. If u have fresh cream, then take 1/2 cup or depends on ur family members 1/2 cream,2 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract mix it well..Before making cream keep clean bowl and whiskers into the freezer for 10 mins or till it is cold.then whisk the cream till peak forms.if you are unable to do.then get store bought cool whip available in diary products.
For straw berries i washed, chopped into halves and pureed into mixie by adding sugar to taste.not too smooth atleast 30 seconds to 1 min.
then i mixed all the ingredients by my hand..no blender for this too.just to make pureed strawberries.U can also buy 1 can crushed strawberries that will be fine.
Hope this reply helped u cleared your doubts.Awaiting to hear from u once u tried it. U can try for mango flavor.1 can pureed mangoes or cut mangoes and make coarse paste because you ll get the feel of mango pieces:)

    2. achu i had used fresh cream and tried twice with it, one time i used hand blender electric type. and second time i used my mixie to whip up the cream, second time it did come better than before and i used just sugar along with fresh mangoes. no essence no nothing else. so second time was bit better than before and still slight trace of icicile plus it was bit hard not like the icecreams we get in market.

  3. This looks delicious. I really like the condensed milk no-churn recipes and indeed, you'll see that July's theme fits them too, so if you make some other flavours in same way, you can enter those in July if you like. Bet your daughter was happy with this!
